Apologies friends, late again!
Frankly, I’ve been feeling a bit out of sorts today – not to mention that my laptop inconveniently reached capacity & chucked a hissy fit. It’s running smoothly again after I emptied most of the contents out onto a portable hard drive, but it certainly sapped my patience for technology. I’m also struggling to shake the awful news of the Hunter Valley bus crash. Typically, I steer clear of day-to-day news but this one slipped through and it’s just such a devastating accident that it’s hard to brush off the sorrow of it all. As a result, I’m not much in the mood to write tonight, but I may pop back into your inbox later in the week.

Despite landing on another ice cream image for a second week running, I decided to use the reference below as, perhaps surprisingly, I’d never actually drawn a sundae before. Sure, the pairing with the bears didn’t result in anything particularly creative, but I can confidently say that I wouldn’t usually consider throwing teddies into the mix, so this added a fun/fresh component for me. Happily, I liked the results so with a tad more refinement, I can imagine this making its way into my shop.
After a week off, and a rough start, I’ll be attempting to get back into the swing of things over the next few days!!!!
